On a pleasant, sunny morning 16 ramblers set out from Bibury, past the church and onto the track which passes Bibury Court, through woodland, then through fields alongside the River Coln, making one detour to avoid the flooding, to reach Coln St Aldwyns for our refreshment stop at Coln Stores Cafe who kindly accommodated us although they were about to close. Light rain started just as we set off again, how considerate to let us have our lunch whilst dry. We returned up the hill and across fields until we descended the hill to retrace our steps back to the church. Several people commented on what a pretty walk this is.
