On a sunny spring morning 12 members and 2 guests set off from Temple Guiting. We followed the Winchcombe Way then walked alongside a pretty stream through Castlett Wood. Turning west we passed a very attractive Manor House before walking alongside Guiting Wood where we stopped for a refreshment break. After the break we set off down through the woods on good paths that had dried considerably in the last week. We then turned north up Campden Lane to Lynes Barn, there we met a very large and beautiful male turkey strutting his stuff! We then followed the Gloucestershire Way for just under a mile before turning off to walk past the site of the Medieval village of Pinnock. There we stopped for a well earned lunch break before covering the last mile and a half back to the cars.
Coffee and cake were enjoyed at The Old Prison cafe on the way home.
