There were 15 Ramblers for our six mile walk from Shipton Oliffe. Starting from the church on a cold but a dry and pleasant day we walked through the village and then alongside a track with lovely views. We then proceeded along a quiet country road until we reached the Salperton Estate. We headed through the Estate grounds until we reached the Grand manor house where we had our refreshment break. (Unfortunately I was unable to arrange to have this in the house) After our refreshments we continued along the outskirts of the Estate before proceeding over more fields with fine views until we reached the delightful village of Hampen. Continuing through the village and farm we went alongside more fields to another farm on the outskirts of Shipton Oliffe and back into the village to the end of a very pleasant and enjoyable walk.
