Cirencester Ramblers

On a warm but drizzly morning 4 members set off from Stratton House Hotel for a 4.5 mile leisurely walk.  Heading gently uphill to the back entrance of Cirencester Park, we then turned down the path that runs by the practice polo grounds, coming into the outskirts of Daglingworth before having a quick coffee stop.  After scaling the only stile on the walk we headed along the valley through the fields to Stratton.  Here we enjoyed looking at the variety of houses as we went through the churchyard and along a back track which ran parallel to the main road.  We passed the allotments before returning to the Hotel for a convivial lunch.
