On a perfect summer day 12 members set off from Condicote, as we passed the village green an old-fashioned fete had been set up. We thought that it would be in full swing when we returned but it turned out that it was a film set for the Father Brown Series. Passing on through scarecrows and bunting we followed the Gloucestershire way before turning off through woodland and then took a coffee break at Beechy Bank. Then followed an uphill walk - through woodland to Bourton Downs where we had some lovely views. We ate lunch on some very handy logs and a bank before walking along a lovely green valley. At the beautiful Hinchwick Manor we walked back to Condicote on a quiet and scenic road.
