Just three Ramblers set out from Tetbury Good Shed on yet another hot morning for a 4 mile leisurely walk. We started by walking through parts of the town admiring the ancient bridges, Market Hall and Chipping steps before heading along Herd Lane to Preston Park. After a short section of the railway line path, where we learnt about the Bristol defences from the 2nd World War, we walked along the road towards Long Newnton. Turning left we picked up the Monarchs Way following it into town, past the Tythe Barn and Hospital. A small group but a pleasant walk in good company.
