Unlucky for some - 13 walkers, including 3 visitors set out on a rather windy morning at Lower Moor Nature reserve. The breeze soon subsided to give way to beautiful sunshine. A highlight of the walk were the Snakes Head Fritillaries. There was a slight misjudgment of the length of the walk - it being somewhat shorter than thought. Over coffee at the Dragon Fly cafe it was suggested that we go round again to make up the distance……. No takers. Funny that.
