Always a popular walk, 12 people headed out of the picturesque village of Guiting Power. The village was very busy with a cycling event involving 900!! cyclists. We met them on a few occasions during the walk, but thankfully in small groups. Our route took us through Guiting Wood. After our lunch stop rain threatened and eventually a short downpour was enough to call for raincoats. On our return to Guiting Power a group took advantage of the Post Office cafe.
