Seven ramblers set out today on this 8 mile strenuous walk from Miserden. We took paths through beautiful woodland and across fields with splendid views across the landscape. The woodlands were carpeted in a mass of wild garlic . We had a rare sighting of a herd of deer. Back in Miserden the group split into two - half for well earned coffee and cake at Little Ginger’s shepherd’s hut at Miserden gardens, with glorious alliums and the others opting for a refreshing cider at the pub.

One of the many beautiful views

So much wild garlic.

Just one of the woodland paths
It’s been a great year for the May blossom
