On a beautiful, warm, sunny Easter Sunday, 16 ramblers set out from Seven Springs through the fields in the Churn Valley to pretty Coberley and then to Cowley and the Green Dragon Inn, where we had a short coffee stop. We continued over the main road and up a long gentle hill, past rape fields in full bloom, with magnificent views on either side. At the top we stopped for a leisurely lunch and enjoyed simnel cake and small chocolate eggs. We continued through Upper Coberley and back downhill to Seven Springs.
