Cirencester Ramblers

12 members set off from Hillesley for a 6 mile walk. Despite the weather forecast not being favourable the weather was perfect.

We walked through fields and wooded areas to Alderley joining part of the Cotswold Way with a beautiful valley and hills. On arriving at Lower Kilcott we took a right onto part of the Monarch's Way, climbing uphill where we had our lunch stop with spectacular views.

We continued up the Long Coombe valley to the Hawkesbury - Hillesley road, turning right down a farm track to woodland and back down to Hillesley.
