On the 8th March 24 members and guests caught the bus from Torquay to Churston Cross where they started the 6.5 mile walk led by Jane. Taking the John Musgrave Heritage Trail along a lane and then rough tracks they made their way towards Greenway the home of the late Agatha Christie. After less than a mile the group were on more open countryside with wide ranging views of the River Dart estuary.

The walkers picked up the Greenway Walk, which they stayed on for the rest of the walk. As they made their way down to the estuary edge near Glampton Creek they got several sightings of steam trains on the Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway. They then made their way up through Glampton and across to the Torbay coastline at Broadsands where they joined the South West Coast Path for a short way before making their way to Churston Station where they caught the bus back to Torquay.
