Cirencester Ramblers

On a thankfully cooler afternoon 10 ramblers plus one retired rambler walked 4 miles prior to our annual strawberry tea .
We started from Bradstone car park in Ashton Keynes starting off on the Thames Path. We stopped along the way to admire and sniff a rose bush (not a dog rose ) and conjectured how it got there . We walked mainly under trees for the first part accompanied by blue damsel flies. We passed several lakes at one we stopped to watch a lady water skiing .
Our walk then proceeded back to Ashton Keynes passing several fields recently cut for silage arriving back at Antoinette’s home for our tea
