Cirencester Ramblers

The rain held off for this, the third attempt at this the lady walk of the year. 8 walkers, four usual suspects and four visitors from other groups, set off from Coaley Peak on a very misty morning. So sadly we didn’t get the usual spectacular views over towards the river Severn. The route took us through woodland up and down some fairly steep slopes and out to Uley Bury Iron Age Hillfort with views across to Downham Hill. Returning again through peaceful woodland finishing with a well earned treat at Caper cafe.
