The weather forecast for our walk was for rain and blustery winds hence there were only 5 hardy souls for my walk from Churchill. However we set off with little wind or rain. Walking along a private road and then a track we reach a quiet country road on the outskirts of Cornwell. After following this road for a short distance we did a tour of this charming Cotswold village by road, wooded area and field. We had our refreshment break here overlooking Cornwell Manor. It did start to rain for the remainder of the walk across fields but not too heavy. On reaching the track we walked along on our way to Cornwell we decided to take this back to our start point rather than the fields as these did look rather muddy. We timed it just right as we just got back to our cars before the heavens opened. Despite the weather all enjoyed the walk and my boots were lovely and clean.
