For our annual day trip thirty two ramblers, family and friends went by coach to The National Trust landscape gardens at Stowe. We had a good journey arriving at 10.45am where we were given a brief history before four hours of free time to explore the gardens, partake in refreshments or browse the shop for those early Christmas presents. At 3.00pm we all met at Stowe School where we split into two groups for a very informative and interesting guided tour of several rooms in this grand house. At 4.30pm we boarded the coach for our return to Cirencester arriving at 6.15pm. A great day was had by all, made that more enjoyable by the weather which was cloudy but warm and perfect for walking.
