On Sunday 18th November circa 30 members attended our AGM at Ampney Crucis Village Hall. After an optional short morning walk, led by Phil Gearing, members returned to an excellent bring and share lunch. As usual the generosity of members ensured there was plenty to eat and leftovers to take home. Sue Bruton had asked to run a bring and swap bookstall in aid of the Cirencester Outdoor Pool and our members responded with a wide selection of books.
Our Group Chair, John Bookwood, had announced he was standing down after 4 years in the role. Phil Gearing presented John with a gift voucher and card in thanks for all his hard work. Fortunately Alison Goodall has stepped up take on the role of Group Chair and was unanimously elected in a vote of full support from the members. There were no other changes as all the existing committee members were re-elected.
An excellent bring and share lunch awaits the walkers.
