Cirencester Ramblers

Join Us for a Walk

We meet at The Waterloo Car Park in Cirencester, GL7 2PY, (SP 026 020) so that car sharing can be arranged as necessary.  Car drivers should report to the leader for directions to the start point.

Cars depart promptly at the time shown in the programme.

Please bring sufficient food and drink for the walk.  There will be at least one refreshment stop on all walks, and two stops on walks that are longer than a half day.  Pub lunches are only guaranteed where stated in the programme.

Stout footwear and waterproof clothing are advisable.

Walks are described in the programme as E(easy), L(leisurely), M(moderate) or S(strenuous) so that you can judge their suitability. For full details please see Walks Grade Guide

Registered Assistance Dogs Only are allowed on walks.

Children, under 18 years of age, must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

There is no charge for non-members to join our walks - we expect you to join if you take part regularly. Joining would help further the aims of The Ramblers.

Contribution To Travel Arrangements:   We try to car-share whenever possible, and members accepting lifts contribute a sum of £2, £3 or £4 to their driver depending on the distance from Cirencester.

Please note:  All sporting and leisure activities have inherent hazards associated with them and rambling is no exception. In spite of the safety of members always being of paramount concern, accidents will occasionally occur. It is important, therefore, that when entering into the activity, each member appreciates that they have a responsibility to identify the hazards associated with the activity and take all reasonable steps to eliminate or minimise the potential for an accident to arise.
