Cirencester Ramblers

February 25th Sapperton

Twenty six walkers started out from Sapperton on a lovely sunny morning and  walked through the edge of Sapperton Wood to Frampton Mansell . After a short drinks break outside The Crown Inn they walked down to Lower Manor and onto the footpath alongside the Thames and Severn Canal.

Another break was taken in the sunshine at Valley Corner before walking back along a country lane bordering Oldhills Wood. The ramblers then again walked alongside the canal but in an easterly direction, through Siccaridge Wood to the Daneway, then Sapperton tunnel and back up to Sapperton village.
