Cirencester Ramblers

June 29th Tetbury

On a cooler but dry evening 15 members and 1 guest headed north from the centre of Tetbury through backways to Blind Lane, passing the secondary school and some of the new building works around Tetbury.  The walk took us along Blind Lane and out into open fields.   We then doubled back past Broadfield and Highfield farms where members had fun negotiating some interesting stiles, before cutting across to Preston Park near the old railway cutting passing Wor Well (source of the Tetbury Avon) on the way.

We stopped to watching foxes, rabbits and alpacas in this area before continuing through Preston Park, along Herd Lane, crossing Millennium Green towards Wiltshire Bridge before the final short assent to the Parish Church and our starting point.

After walking down Blind Lane we emerge into a field
