On Thursday 27th April, thirteen members of Cirencester Ramblers with Walter, a registered Assistance dog, set off on a 4 mile walk from Sherston. From the High Street we descended to the River Avon and then ascended Bustlers Hill before taking the bridleway to Lordswood Farm. After a short walk on lanes we walked through Ladyswood Farm where we paused by a pond for a brief coffee stop. We continued on the footpath until we reached the lane down to the River Avon and back up to Easton Town road in Sherston. After the walk we retired to the Carpenters Arms for an excellent spot of lunch.
