With rain lashing down, 10 ramblers made their way to our meeting place in Cirencester whereupon, in shared cars, we set out for Brimpsfield with the expectation of a very wet walk. But no! As we were joined by 3 guests in Brimpsfield the rain had stopped, the sun was threatening to appear and with one in his usual shirtsleeves (Bob!) and one in shorts, we started to walk.
It ended up being a lovely day, a lovely walk, not as much mud as feared and some even took the very steep path up from the bottom to the top of Caudle Green. Thanks to all who braved the weather (and the horses) and were rewarded with sunshine.
