On Sunday September 18th, 24 walkers including one guest, enjoyed a five mile circular walk from Adlestrop. All the uphill paths on the walk came at the start when the group followed the Macmillan Way up to Chastleton. After passing Chastleton House (National Trust) and St Mary's Church, a refreshment break was taken at the highest point on the walk.
The return downhill walk had glorious views in full sun of the countryside in the direction of Stow on the Wold, before entering the shady Long Drive to return to Adlestrop. The walk concluded with a mile circular walk of the village, passing Moreton Lake and returning to the Macmillan Way, to pass the cricket field and Adlestrop House.
