Cirencester Ramblers

July 31st Kingscote and Ozleworth

On Sunday 31st July 27 members set off from the Hunters Hall Inn at Kingscote on a 5½ mile walk. From the inn the group walked down the lane towards Bagpath before making a steep descent down the valley to Marlees Brook. They then took the footpath down this attractive valley, taking a coffee stop on the way, until they reached Ozleworth Bottom.

The walkers then made their way back along Ozleworth Bottom with its varied flora and through Lasborough Park with splendid views of Lasborough House, Manor and church. Staying on footpaths, they returned through Church Covert, Hay Bottom and Furze Grove to arrive back at Hunters Hall Inn for a well earned drink.
