On a wet Tuesday 12th July, 10 members set off on a 4½ mile evening walk from Andoversford. They walked past the Point to Point in Sandywell Park and continued to reach Lower Dowdeswell. Here they stopped for a short break in the grounds of The Church of Saint Michael and All Saints (a Grade I listed building).
Leaving the church they walked up a steep hill to near Castle Barn Farm before heading back through Upper Dowdeswell and Sandywell Park to Andoversford, where they all enjoyed a drink in the Royal Oak.
