Cirencester Ramblers

On Saturday 20th August a select number of Volunteers began work on the third section to be cleared.  Parking at the Tunnel house Inn they descended to the canal path where the heavy mob (Paul) put his strimmer to work to clear a large part of the very overgrown area.  The rest travelled further along the path towards Sapperton to remove small overhanging trees and a profusion of nettles and brambles.

After a short coffee break (thanks to Paul and Richard for the biscuits and Kit Kats!) they continued work until lunchtime.

Lunch was taken under the canal bridge (or in Richard's case in the canal basin itself) before returning to base, having the satisfaction of a job well done!
