On a bitterly cold and frosty morning 6 trusty volunteers set off from the Tunnel House at Coates to clear and signpost another section of the Wysis Way. Leaving the car park they set off towards Sapperton clearing the vegetation and putting up markers to guide walkers through the maze of paths in the woods.

Leaving Sapperton they climbed up towards the canal path and continued clearing and marking until the reached the newly renovated Daneway Inn. Crossing the road they had lunch by the side of the canal They returned on a slightly different route having walked 6.5 miles in total.
